Shell Campaign Safety ‘On The Road’.

    1. On the 12 March , our  group heading to the SHELL depot at Penanti regarding on the safety on the shell truck while on the road. The shell truck itself have their own safety. As we can see at the right side and left side of the loader, its equip with the ‘restrain bar’ that prevent the motorcyclist and also car form being stuck  underneath the loader. Although the accident happen, it will reduce the occupant injury. 

    2. The “restrain bar’ are made from the high tensile strength that will make it to bend a little bit and can also reduce the momentum coefficient while the accident happen. 

      

3.  The restrain bar also have other function. It also provide the protection to the ‘fuelling valve’ when the fuel inside in the container being transfer, in or out. So, when accident happen, at the area, it will reduce the probability the malfunction of the ‘fuelling valve’ and also avoid huge fire from happening.

     4. At this loader, it have ‘fender brush’ that prevent the dust or stone from being chip to the pedestrian and also to the motorist. It also neutralize the electrostatic form being charge at the tyre and also can cause heat to the tyre.
